Looking at the number of submissions opposing the Arms Legislation Bill, compared to those who support it, sends a clear message to the government and in the nature of these things is a good result. My question is why are so few LFOs prepared to put ink on paper (or even on a website) to defend their sport/hobby/way of life?
I often see people claiming LFOs are 250,000 strong and with those numbers can really influence decisions, and yes we could if everyone pulled their weight, otherwise it is just wishful thinking.

PALMERSTON NORTH POLICE STATION GUN HEIST, READS LIKE KEYSTONE COPS.
Police officers pointed pistols at a burglar high on P stealing guns from the Palmerston North police station. He ignored them and carried on.
Then they mislead the Minister on how many guns were stolen, and try to avoid going public with the information.

GANGS BATTLE WITH GUNS IN HAWKES BAY
But why aren't police raiding Gang houses and seizing guns instead of raiding LFOs.
More evidence that the Governments arms strategy is failing and Nash thinks the latest Arms Bill will solve this problem. And it will continue to fail until the Government and Police engage with the firearm community in a meaningful way.
All the best,
